What you do at AMD changes eveything At AMD, we push the boundaies of what is possible.  We believe in changing the wold fo the bette by diving innovation in high-pefomance computing, gaphics, and visualization technologies – building blocks fo gaming, immesive platfoms, and the data cente.  Developing geat technology takes moe than talent: it takes amazing people who undestand collaboation, espect, and who will go the “exta mile” to achieve unthinkable esults.  It takes people who have the passion and desie to disupt the status quo, push boundaies, delive innovation, and change the wold.  If you have this type of passion, we invite you to take a look at the oppotunities available to come join ou team.The Diagnostic Engineeing team is esponsible fo CPU, APU and dGPU IP functional, system, and stess diagnostics. We ae seeking an expeienced enginee to delive diagnostics which test the industy leading high-pefomance inteconnects IP subsystem (PCIe, DMA, XGMI, BIF, System Hub, IOMMU, IOHUB, IOAPIC).  Key Responsibilities:?Read and undestand the specification documents fo new IPs?Define compehensive test plans with the IP design team?Develop diagnostics softwae to bing-up and validate ASIC featues on both pe-silicon (emulation) envionments and post-silicon hadwae?Change the available code fo enabling the new systems and impove the pefomance quality fo manufactuing tests?Identify and help esolve ASIC, boad and fimwae issues to enable IP featues?Delive tageted stess tests fo AMD System Level Test (SLT) manufactuing test?Suppot manufactuing and custome issues?Fowad thinke to impove development pocesses, code quality and HW coveageExpeience:?Bachelo's o Maste's degee in Electical/Compute Engineeing o equivalent?5+ yeas of Embedded softwae development expeience in Linux dive and C++ pogamming?Poficient in C++ pogamming, with expeience in pogamming using OOPs concepts and STL. Hands-on expeience with pogamming using templates.?Stong knowledge of Linux?Knowledge of high speed IO technologies (PCIe, DMA, IOMMU/VT-D, etc.) is desied?Hands-on expeience with PCIe potocol analyze, ASIC bing up, etc. is an asset?Stong debugging and testing skills (manual and automated)?Familiaity with Linux o Windows dive development is pefeed.?Good undestanding of the x86 pocesso achitectue and hands on expeience on post silicon validation.?Fluent communication skills in English
